So this was a Question of the day and to my surprise, most of my guy friends said "sure why not?" which i thought was cool! I love a man that is strong and secure enough in himself to see his woman succeed. What was even more surprising was that most of the men said they are not really big into politics. One said also that if it got too crazy or dangerous, he would expect for her to bow out. Anyway this was a small poll of Nigerian men living in Nigeria and abroad. They were 5 in total, so i'm pretty optomistic about men's views.
So women! lets start to take a stand! get out there and flex ur political muscles! We can't sit back and worry about the future of our children if we dont make an effort to ensure it and ensuring it is thru political activity whether through direct involvement or voting and fundraising for a favorite candidate
This is the diary of a Gidi Girl or one in the making. I may be a Nigerian girl in America now, but my hopes and dreams take me to Nigeria; Lagos to be specific. I don’t know how or when I’m going to get there, but I will! Follow me on my journey which hopefully should lead me back to Lagos, Nigeria aka Las Gidi. Fasten your seatbelts Ladies and Gentlemen, it may be a bumpy ride!!!!!
