"Why are you so interested in HIV Awareness, do you have it?"Lol He doesn't understand why I am passionate, but I too was surprised because I didn't understand how one could not be. If we all got involved when we God forbid are diagnosed, then there would be no movement until it has overrun our population. I am passionate about it because I don't want to EVER get HIV. I dont want YOU to ever get HIV or anyone I love.
It makes no sense that a disease that is 100% preventable has the upper hand. All you have to do is Get Tested, Know your status, and abide by preventative behavioral methods such as safe sex, open dialog with partners, screening of blood, etc.
Just like Polio, HIV can be eradicated... Lets turn World AIDS Day into "Thank God that Disease has already been Eradicated" Day. If we each play it smart, it can happen. www.worldaidsday.org
