EL's got Talent...local urban arts

Okay, so I didn't really used to think that East Lansing had any creative arts notches on its belt except for the whole big jazz scene in old town, but I got a little taste of Urban Expression ...

Whoa, fancy and functional. Heavy wood pieces probably give a good workout too. 

Local Indie/Rock Band?

Double Whoa!!!! These guys were just on a bench in an ally practicing their MUZAK. It was really good. 

Graffiti Wall Art??

In little old East Lansing? Triple Whoaaaaa! These works of art remind me of NYC trains covered with tags of gang members. But this is a little different. You can obviously see the artistic element in these. Pretty heavy. 

Slow Slow by Chuddy K

I'm 'slow slow' in posting this video apparently. Chuddy K is an up and coming artist from Lagos, Nigeria. I heard of this song from other people when I went to Nigeria this December, but had never heard it.  I just recently heard the song like 2 weeks ago, but only learned today that there was a video. Love seeing Nigerians doing their thing.

It's definately that "boo'd up" "grab ur man and dance" "lovey lovey" kinda song that gets ladies and people in love going. Since I fall into at least 1 of those categories, you know that the slow slow song is definately a HIT! Anyway I love this song. It is on my blackberry and lappy and is in heavy rotation now.
